Located in Penticton BC, the design for the Jolicoeur home will have a subtle yet dynamic flow through it. Like the soft movements of flames at a late summer bonfire, the steady curve of the mountains, or the return of each season year after year. Rising and falling, each fleeting moment is savored before giving way to the next. A home that is saturated in love, inspiration, and nourishment. The home will feature smooth, strong curves through the sculptural staircase and sunken living room; creating a playful rhythm moving through the space. Soft textures like wood and natural stone are complemented by tactile linen. The home will be saturated with warm toned woods, burnt umber, and a melody of warm greys. Large windows will allow the daylight to flood in, bringing the natural landscape into the heart of the Jolicoeur home.
